We know Salesforce is one of your top sales productivity tools, according to an online technology reviews firm, so we want to keep you updated on the technology you use every day.
Most sales software aims to increase sales productivity. But too many tools can actually decrease productivity, because sales teams spend so much time working and reporting in multiple disparate systems.
Salesforce and Quip want to solve this. Earlier this week, the two companies announced innovations that streamline processes between their systems. Check out the highlights of their announcement below.
New sales productivity upgrades from Salesforce and Quip
- Live Data: Import data from Salesforce directly into Quip living documents. Once there, the information automatically syncs with Salesforce.
- Quip Lightning Component: Link, access and create Quip documents, tasks and spreadsheets from within Salesforce.
- Quip Checklists: Manage projects inside Quip with tasks that include more than just owners and due dates. This feature lives alongside all the other elements of a project: roadmaps, budgets, design and more.
- Smarter User Experience: Get work done faster with this upgrade. Brand new sidebar and contextual menus show document, spreadsheet and checklist tools that users might need at that exact time.
The new Quip user experience and checklists are available to current customers at no additional cost. Quip Connect features will be available to Quip Enterprise and Salesforce users on the AppExchange mid-February of this year.
