Salesforce DUG Meetup – Detroit [Event]

Kevin O’Hara, LevelEleven CTO and a Force.com MVP, founded Detroit’s Salesforce Developer User Group (DUG) in hopes of providing the community with additional opportunities for networking and learning.

That’s exactly what started to happen at the first Detroit DUG Meetup, during which around 30 local tech professionals connected for networking and developer talk over a few beers in the M@dison building.

Then it happened at the second event, when members gathered at the M@dison yet again — this time for a hands-on workshop on the new Salesforce Platform Mobile Services.

So we expect the third DUG meetup, which will take place May 21 at 6 p.m. (Location: TBD) to be just as much of a success. Entitled “Trigger Tips, Tricks and Tales,” the event will feature a presentation from Kevin on all things Trigger development.

Kevin spent over five years as a salesforce.com consultant before coming to LevelEleven, so he says: “I’ve seen the good, the bad and the downright ugly.” And he plans on using all of that to share “some tips, tricks, hacks, gotchas and best practices” for writing better Triggers. The event will also feature a brainstorm session for collaboration on Trigger tips.

We’ll see you there.
