NAME: Getting Opps to the End Zone

GOAL OF CONTEST: Create a month long competition around the sport of football. Break out your team into two teams and then award six points (touchdown) to the team if they close an existing opportunity,  three points (field goal) for updating the opportunity to a new stage, and one point (extra point) if they add a new opportunity.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: Tickets to a local NFL or college football game

NAME: Driving for the Hole in One (Hour)

GOAL OF CONTEST: Create a power hour competition where your team has one hour to call as many leads as possible in that hour. Award points for logging calls.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: Day off and green fees for the winner (day off and massage for non-golfers); Hour nap in the conference room

NAME:  Delivering New Leads

ALTERNATIVE NAMES: Deep Dishing Out More Leads

GOAL OF CONTEST: Reward participants for the fastest lead response times. Award different tiers of points for how quickly a lead is responded to in order to get your team to respond faster than normal (e.g. 5 points for leads responded to in <8 hours, 3 points 8-24 hours, 1 point >24 hours).

POSSIBLE PRIZES: A gift card to a popular, local pizzeria; Pizza from a popular, nationally recognized pizza place (e.g. Lou Malnati’s in Chicago); make this a team-based contest and award the winning team a pizza party

GOAL OF CONTEST: Challenge your team to book/schedule more meetings. Setup a point system that encourages your team to schedule as many meetings as possible. ( F2F, on-demand, etc); use Adjusted Score to push your team by putting in negative points to establish the minimum number of meetings needed to win.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: A gift card to a popular, local pizzeria; A pizza (or two) from a popular, nationally recognized pizza place (e.g.g Lou Malnati’s in Chicago); winning team receives a pizza party

Be Late for Something Day (September 5th)  – OPPORTUNITY COMPETITION
NAME: Better Late Than Never

GOAL OF CONTEST: Don’t be late on the day of this fun competition in which participants compete to see who can score the most points by advancing opportunities at a low sales stage (e.g. from 1-Stalled to 3-Discovery Complete).

POSSIBLE PRIZES: The winner is able to come in an hour late to work each day for a week

Chocolate Milk Shake Day (September 12th)  – LEADS COMPETITION
NAME: Milking the Leads

GOAL OF CONTEST: Generate as many leads as possible within a chosen amount of time. Try doing a power hour contest in which your team has one hour to create as many leads as possible.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: An office-made milk shake made by the winner’s manager (or company CEO); a gift card to a local diner known for their delicious milkshakes

International Talk Like a Pirate Day (September 19th)  – LEADS COMPETITION
NAME: Searching for the Treasured Lead

GOAL OF CONTEST: To generate as many leads as possible when releasing a new product out to the market. Provide all participants with pirate hats and tattoos, too!

POSSIBLE PRIZES: Buy a treasure chest for the office and stock it with various gifts, big and small for winners to choose from.

International Talk Like a Pirate Day (September 19th)  – SALES COMPETITION
NAME: Arrrrrrrrrsk for Referrals

GOAL OF CONTEST: Participants are rewarded for creating referrals.  Create a contest where participants in 2nd place are able to choose a sealed envelope containing different options for getting the person out of first place (e.g. deducting a certain amount of points, awarding bonus points, etc.).  Mario Kart example: sending a blue shell to the person in front so that everyone has a chance to win.

Provide all participants with pirate hats and tattoos, too!

Miniature Golf Day (September 21st) – MEETINGS COMPETITION
NAME: Teed Up for Success

GOAL OF CONTEST: Team-based competition for the team that can schedule (or conduct) the most number of meetings 

POSSIBLE PRIZES: Par three putting green for the team to use in the office; Executive Sandbox for each team member; the winning team receives a half day off to go miniature golfing

First Day of Fall (September 23th– OPPORTUNITY COMPETITION
NAME: Turning Over a New Leaf

GOAL OF CONTEST: This competition will be based on a new product going to market. Make this a dollar value based contest where the winner will have the highest cumulative opportunity amount for that product.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: Gift card to a local apple orchard/ tickets for a hayride, Cider and donuts for the office, Lawn service to rake leaves
