Closing deal contests are often based on total $$ brought in during the contest timeframe, % to goal for the respective timeframe or sometimes even the number of new sales closed during the contest timeframe.

GOAL OF CONTEST: Run a day long competition on Wednesday, November 26th. A day traditionally slow for businesses, this is a great opportunity to encourage reps to make more calls (thus more sales). The participant who closes the most sales on this day is rewarded with a gift card or perhaps a ½ or full day off on Cyber Monday (December 1st).

GOAL OF CONTEST: Closing deals is great and certainly important, however it is the BIG deal that gets everyone excited. With a contest based on $$, reward participants for closing deals greater than a certain dollar amount (take your average deal size and add 25%).

IDEA: In celebration of one of everyone’s favorite childhood board games, Candy Land.
GOAL OF CONTEST: A simple contest based on opportunities “Closed Won” during a contest period; the participant with the highest number of closed deals wins!

GOAL OF CONTEST: We all want to see our teams grow, whether it be revenue, the number of calls, and certainly professionally. Make this competition one that is based on growth from the previous day/week/month. Using Score Adjustment,, take the amount of sales they made last month and turn it into a negative number (for example, if they sold $50,000 last month, they start with -$50,000). At the end of the competition, the person with the biggest increase over the previous period wins!

GOAL OF CONTEST: Many companies offer President’s Club members a trip, but more and more, we are seeing trips offered for competitions of shorter duration (e.g. quarter long or six months long). Crown a winner based on their achievement over goal or the person with the highest sales for a specified time period.
POSSIBLE PRIZES: A trip outside of your home state…could be anything from a weekend jaunt to a neighbor city/state to somewhere warm like the Caribbean!
