IDEA: To highlight the gain of an hour for Daylight Savings Time (November 2nd)

POSSIBLE PRIZES: The winner gets to leave an hour early for the day (or be really generous and make it an hour early every day that week!)

BLACK FRIDAY
IDEA: To celebrate the day when most retail companies move into the black (Friday after Thanksgiving).

GOAL OF CONTEST: Run a week long parent/child competition with points being awarded for your selected behavior, such as closing deals. Each day, provide the winner of the daily (child) competition with a $25 gift card.  Award the winner of the week long (parent) competition with a larger gift card or Black Friday off (or the following Friday off, if you’re already off for Black Friday).

IDEA: In celebration of election day on Tuesday, November 4th, idea based on the popular Netflix series “House of Cards”

ALTERNATIVE NAME: In the Race for (insert behavior)

GOAL OF CONTEST: Run a one-day competition based on the behavior of your choice, such as updating Contacts or Opportunity Advancement. The day after the competition concludes, provide the winner with a special privilege normally reserved for an executive.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: Use of the President’s office for a day; special parking spot for a day/week, etc.


HOLY ______, BATMAN! (INSERT BEHAVIOR)
IDEA: In honor of America’s favorite masked crusader.

New Sales

GOAL OF CONTEST: We all want to see our teams grow, whether it be revenue, the number of calls, and certainly professionally.  Make this competition one that is based on growth from the previous day/week/month.  Using Score Adjustment,, take the amount of sales they made last month and turn it into a negative number (for example, if they sold $50,000 last month, they start with -$50,000).  At the end of the competition, the person with the biggest increase over the previous period wins!

POSSIBLE PRIZES: A trip outside of your home state…could be anything from a weekend jaunt to a neighbor city/state to somewhere warm like the Caribbean!
