GOAL OF CONTEST: Take advantage of the extra hour (don’t forget to fall back on November 2nd!) with a power hour contest!  Choose a behavior, such as logging calls, and run a one hour contest. Reward participants for your selected behavior.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: The winner gets to leave an hour early for the day (or be really generous and make it an hour early every day that week!)

Sandwich Day (November 3rd) – MEETINGS COMPETITION

GOAL OF CONTEST: The two winners from the previous contest will pick their teams for this team-based contest around who can schedule the most demos. Award points for Activities with Type “Demo” or the word “Demo” contained in the Subject or Description.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: A day or half day off in November; an hour-long nap in the breakroom to celebrate Congressional napping; Flowers and/or Champagne delivered to your desk to celebrate the winner (similar to how the political winners celebrate)

GOAL OF CONTEST: Run a month-long contest that rewards participants for converting leads. Make it extra interesting by awarding additional points halfway through the contest using the Score Adjustment feature or increasing the number of points for converting leads.  For example, during the last half of the competition, make converted leads worth double the amount of points than the first two weeks.

POSSIBLE PRIZES: A turkey delivered to your house for Thanksgiving

GOAL OF CONTEST: Without activity, there are no new leads, no opportunities, and thus no revenue.  Build a contest that rewards points for each task (or event) entered during the respective contest period.

GOAL OF CONTEST: Run a week long parent/child competition with points being awarded for your selected behavior, such as closing deals. Each day, provide the winner of the daily (child) competition with a $25 gift card.  Award the winner of the week long (parent) competition with a larger gift card or Black Friday off (or the following Friday off, if you’re already off for Black Friday).

Cyber Monday (December 1st) – SALES COMPETITION

GOAL OF CONTEST: Run a day long competition on Wednesday, November 26th.  A day traditionally slow for businesses, this is a great opportunity to encourage reps to make more calls (thus more sales).  The participant who closes the most sales on this day is rewarded with a gift card or perhaps a ½ or full day off on Cyber Monday (December 1st).
