POSSIBLE PRIZES: A basket made up of all types of candy (make it extra fun by buying candy from the winner’s childhood days); organize a candy buffet (made up of all different types of candy) in which the winner(s) get to fill up a basket with the candy of their choice; if budget is an issue, award the winner a Peppermint PATty on the back from your CEO/President (or even better, have everyone line up in the office to give the winner a pat on the back)

GOAL OF CONTEST: Award points to participants for being the best among three important metrics (the ‘hat trick’) within your organization; for example, 10 points for each new sale, 5 points for each new opportunity created, and 1 point for each activity completed

POSSIBLE PRIZES: Power Play (The winner can have anyone below him do something silly, 2nd place can make anyone below him do something silly, this happens for all places except last encouraging the person in last to move up and not have to do something)

NAME: Make it a Slam Dunk (closing deals)

ALTERNATIVE NAME: Lookin’ for the Buzzer Beater (best used near the end of the month/quarter)

GOAL OF CONTEST: Closing deals is great and certainly important, however it is the BIG deal that gets everyone excited.  With a contest based on $$, reward participants for closing deals greater than a certain dollar amount (take your average deal size and add 25%).
